The 5-star property Jolie Ville Royal Peninsula Hotel & Resort Sharm El Sheikh joined the Maritim family in 2007. The Maritim Jolie Ville Royal Peninsula Hotel & Resort has 337 rooms and suites distributed throughout 18 luxurious bungalows and enjoys direct access to the Maritim Sharm El Sheikh International Congress Center. This modern event facility is able to accommodate up to 4,700 participants.
No room is smaller than 60 m 2 and connection system makes it possible to combine certain rooms to form 24 large suites. This design feature was incorporated to provide appropriate luxury accommodation to government delegations and large families.
At 20 hectares in size, the hotel grounds are expansive to say the least and ensure privacy and exclusivity remain in tact at 100% occupation. Alone the swimming pool covers 2,000 m 2 . The resort's Thai Spa wellness facility is a professionally-staffed oasis of wellbeing affording guests a comprehensive range of treatments and applications. Tennis courts, a volleyball court, a multi-purpose field, shops, laundry, hairdressers and a beauty salon are also to be found on the grounds.
Maritim has always understood the importance of fine wining and dining and the resort is of course no exception. In addition to the Peninsula ' buffet restaurant with its generously-sized terrace, guests can also partake in the culinary specialties including traditionally prepared stone oven pizzas in the Al Forno' Italian restaurant. A multi award-winning Thai chef heads up the ' Siam ' restaurant and lovers of the Asian cuisine will not be disappointed. The fine wining is also more than covered by three bars: the English Windsor Lounge, the Panorama Bar and the Pool Bar.
The neighbouring Maritim Sharm El Sheikh International Congress Center was opened in the beginning of 2006 and represents the most modern facility of its kind in the region. It houses a total of 11 conference rooms between 140 and 800 m 2 the flexible design of which enables various combinations. The largest hall boasts a total floor space of 2,200 m 2 enough room for 2,000 people. There are also six VIP rooms for meetings on a smaller scale. The congress centre is equipped with the very latest in conference equipment including numerous interpreter booths, state of the art broadcast quality recording gear and a comprehensive lighting system. The lobby and a restaurant can also be used for large scale receptions.
